Although it’s tucked away in a sleepy corner of Essex, Southend Airport is close enough to be considered one of London’s transport hubs. That surprised us, but not as much as the bold claims that they made: Under an hour away from London; Only 100 steps to the terminal; Voted London’s best airport. The CEO described Southend as ‘London’s Next Big Airport’ – our challenge was to bring that to life.
The brand we created was based on the three values of Quick / Easy / Happy. This informed everything from photography to tone of voice, giving the airport a future-facing, passenger-friendly feel.
